Cooking with friends at the end of school days

Very early in the morning I rushed to prepare ingredients and cooking utensils to take to school today. The menu I will make is Chicken Soto. The process of making it is quite long, especially in making spices. So, I decided to make the seasoning at home to be more efficient. There are four groups that have prepared cooking tools and ingredients at school.

At 8.00 the cooking show starts. Everyone looks very busy. Some of them look nosy, and there are also those who are focused on work. It's really fun. My friend made a big grilled chicken, a whole chicken was grilled. There is also fried chicken and soy sauce chicken. Today's menu is all chicken, but with different spices. Even though it is served differently, there is one thing that cannot be separated from our cooking, namely chili sauce. Soto chili sauce is different from the chili sauce for grilled chicken. The soto sauce that I make is dominated by green cayenne pepper and there are not many additional spices in it.

I also make Es Kuwut drinks. This typical drink from Bali is very fresh because it has a combination of sweet and sour flavors from melon, lime and basil seeds in one. This cooking activity ended at 11.00 and ended with a meal together. This was such a calming moment, I hope to do this again another day with friends.
